Ms. Sreeta Nair is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Dubai Health Authority & Rehabilitation Council of India, bringing over 6 years of invaluable experience in clinical practice. A commitment to specialized training in suicide gate keeping, queer affirmative therapy, and trauma-informed care, under the mentorship of renowned experts like Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk in Trauma Stress Studies marks her professional journey. Ms. Sreeta practices with a deep appreciation for psychodynamic principles and somatic based therapies and effectively uses arts-based interventions to work with patients. Beyond clinical practice, Ms. Sreeta has contributed as an educator. She served as Assistant Professor and Lead Exam Coordinator for 2 years, where her interactions with young adults fueled her passion for understanding their psychological dynamics. This experience not only inspired her own research but also shaped her approach to guiding qualitative research projects, which she believes are pivotal in advancing social sciences. Sreeta's current research focuses on the intricate relationship between food, body image, and health, particularly exploring Lipedema and its impact on young women's self-perception and body acceptance. Her research aims to shed light on how societal perceptions influence individuals' relationships with their bodies and themselves. In addition to her clinical and academic pursuits, Sreeta is an advocate for holistic mental health practices and believes in fostering inclusive and affirming spaces for all individuals, especially those from marginalized communities.

Terms and policies
Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
There is no refund or cancellation once you have been put in touch with the therapist. However, you can reschedule sessions upto 48 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling of the session is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
