Madhavi Bongarala / Licensed Clinical Psychologist (M.Phil., NIMHANS)
Therapy is about understanding yourself in a way that allows for real, lasting change. Growth happens through unlearning old patterns, developing self-compassion, and engaging with life more authentically. I use a relational and experiential approach, blending cognitive-behavioral strategies with mindfulness, self-compassion, and emotional exploration. Therapy is both structured and flexibleāoffering practical tools while creating space for deeper insight and self-discovery. Ā
With an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from Manipal University and an M.Phil. from NIMHANS, my work is grounded in clinical expertise and research. I specialize in psychological resilience, mind-body approaches, and evidence-based interventions for emotional well-being. In private practice, I support individuals, couples, and families in navigating emotional and relational challenges. Ā
Beyond therapy, I engage in mental health advocacy, education, and therapist-led support groups, fostering connection and shared learning. At the heart of my practice is the belief that change isnāt just about knowing what to doāitās about experiencing something different, feeling a shift, and realizing you donāt have to go through it alone.

Terms and policies
Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
There is no refund or cancellation once you have been put in touch with the therapist. However, you can reschedule sessions upto 48 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling of the session is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
