I am on a journey with my son who is in recovery from substance abuse. Was shattered when the disease of addiction threatened to take away my loved one. We have gone through a lot of ups and downs of being a dysfunctional family suffering from disease of addiction. Decided to face it boldly with my family. Consistent treatment, therapy, strong fellowship and a powerful recovery program helped us heal and save our lives. I know the pain of seeing a loved one in pain and the experience of coping mechanisms to come out of it
Learnt and still in the process of learning the skills to help my loved one in the journey of sobriety.
