Bullying & body shaming by some relatives & friends & emotional neglect by family changed me from a confident child to a socially anxious one. This led me to find solace in narcissistic & emotionally abusive relationships aggravating my anxiety & ultimately falling into depression with suicidal thoughts & later on PTSD. Slowly, with efforts I managed to come out of depression & to regulate my anxiety . At IIT Guwahati, I found my true calling in helping people and animals. My close ones called me their "therapist" because I helped them become self-aware & navigate any dilemma with empathy & without judgement, which also led me to get certified in Psychology Counselling. Took a career break to find my true calling, my ikigai. Have come a long way in overcoming my anxiety & low confidence, still learning. Realized the power of self-love and accepting oneself unapologetically. Proudly breaking the generational trauma one decision at a time.
