I am a psychodynamically oriented psychotherapist. However, my approach is eclectic. I am trauma and attachment theory-informed and I use an intersectional framework as I strongly believe that individual suffering and social suffering are connected. I envision therapy as a safe non-judging, curious space where the patient and I collaborate to facilitate healing. I envision it as a space where one can realistically make sense of one’s disavowed feelings, painful experiences, and vehement desires that perhaps couldn't be expressed, tolerated, and integrated as life demands us to adapt for survival. A space where one can make sense of the emerging, always-changing self as affected by both the past and the here and now.
Qualification: M.A. in Psychology
Areas of expertise: Depression and Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Work-related stress management, Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), Childhood Trauma
Therapy approach: I take a non-directive approach in therapy, encouraging clients to commit at least six to eight months to explore the complex layers of their experiences. I invite them to share freely, no matter how taboo or painful, to uncover recurring patterns that shape their lives. As a facilitator, I believe the client is the expert on their own journey. Over time, as trust builds, clients can express their unarticulated pains, process their feelings, and gain confidence in navigating daily challenges.
