I'm an average millennial woman with a world of aspirations and a lifetime of bold resilience. Diagnosed with COPD at 11 years of age and living through every relapse including one that ended in critical care on oxygen support for a week almost, I continue to prioritise rebuilding a healthy lifestyle time and again. As a Criminologist, I know a thing or two about sustaining an unpopular career despite lack of guidance, sexual harassment by the first PhD supervisor and everything in between. Moving places in the process of creating the life I want, I have also learnt the power and responsibility of relationships beyond distance and time.  Over the past few years, I have also had the opportunity to care for my elderly parents, who have their own medical needs.
