It was in early 2015, when I started questioning my existence due to negative thoughts because I was going through a rough phase of my life due to constant failures and rejection which had hit me hard mentally. The impact of being in that zone itself was extremely tough even though I had my parent's support.
In the same year, my relationship too broke off with whom my marriage was expected at that same due to my own fault which I accept totally. 
This whole experience had created a bit of a void inside me and took a toll on my mental health. It was during that time , I surprisingly landed myself at a blood donation camp and donated blood. It was the very first time in so many years, I felt that sense of accomplishment for my own-self because, after strings of bad experiences, I had actually something good that I could be proud of myself. 
This feeling made me take up volunteering and in 2016, I was one of the best volunteers in the same organisation to whose blood camp I had donated blood.
This whole experience actually managed to show me light 💡 from the tunnel of darkness and since then I have been volunteering for the past 8 years now.

Letter writing has also played a major role in my life because I am an introvert so reaching out to people was difficult for me and that’s when letter writing played a very significant role in healing myself it. Just like I found a way to heal myself, I am here to make a difference in the life of a stranger by listening to them unconditionally.
