I have hemiplegia of the left side which was due to an accident when I was 6 months old and got hit on my right side of the head. It hampered my mobility and I was not able to walk till the age of 5. Eventually I got better with the help of physiotherapy and Ayurvedic treatment and started walking. Now my disability has become part of my identity which helps me understand vulnerability of others. I went through a phase of clinical depression in the second year of my master's in TISS in 2019 which changed my outlook towards mental health.
