I lost my husband in COVID 2nd wave. He was just 36 years old. Really had a roller coaster ride for the initial six months where acceptance was not coming. I isolated myself completely from the outside world. I have suffered anxiety issues, panic attacks, social deprivation, financial insecurities, etc.

After 7-8 months of his passing, I understood that now I have left with only 2 options, either sail or sink. And being a mother of an 8-year-old boy, I preferred to stand up and sail through. I started with chakras meditations, and physical activity and experienced better changes. However, I have understood and accepted that life can never be normal and there is no replacement for any parent but at least I have promised myself that I would try to make each day beautiful and wonderful for the sake of my son and of course for myself as well. If I am not keeping myself happy then I can't be a good mother.
