I went through a divorce at the age of 31 after 2 years of marriage, which led to re-evaluating all my life choices. I remarried at the age of 34, and quit a well-paid corporate job in March 2024, after 8 years, to lead a more balanced life, with a focus on my overall well-being. I suffer from PCOS and try to manage the symptoms with lifestyle changes.

An only child, I moved away from home at 23 for the first time for my MBA and struggled in hostel with sleep deprivation and insomnia, suffered on and off from imposter syndrome and was often worried about my education loan and financial future.

During my divorce in 2021, I didn’t find a lot of active support groups and was fortunate to have supportive family and friends. While getting remarried again through a matrimonial website, I dealt with my own biases and social conditioning regarding remarriage. The entire process of finding love after divorce made me stronger and a better human being.
