Saw my brother fight an illness for 5 years in my childhood. Became fiercely independent and carved a life for myself in Mumbai as I grew up. Had a career in leading Ad agencies, freelanced for a few years, and later founded a company with my husband. He was diagnosed with scleroderma after a few years. We had a son soon after but a few years later my husband’s condition aggravated. He spent a while in ICU and home care till we finally lost him in 2018. Within a few months, my mother and mother-in-law were diagnosed with cancer and I lost them both subsequently.

I proceeded with my career and education – and was picked up by Goldman Sachs for a fully paid scholarship and Fellowship at IIM-Bangalore. I have not looked back since, and have been pushing to take my company to the next level, with a focus on bringing up my child as best as I can.
